Working with Pallet Racking Safely

Safe work load notices can be supplied and attached to the end of each run of your pallet racking. These notices will display these safe loading weight and usually quote this in terms of per bay it is safe practice to ensure that weight per level is evenly distributed and that your beams are loaded equally.

Pallet racking systems are not designed to be used as an access system and employees should not climb racking in any instance should you require access to higher level then appropriate access machinery should be used. You need to comply with current health and safety regulations and it is stated that yearly formal inspections of your racking and shelving should be carried out by a trained and regulated safety inspector.
