Advanced Handling & Storage Ltd
The Pallet Racking People
When you are ready to order pallet racking from Advanced Handling there are a few questions you need to know the answer to for us to work out the exact solution for you.
How do you know exactly what type of pallet racking you need for your warehouse? There are so many different factors that come into consideration when choosing your solution. Different solutions have different functionalities and therefore we firstly need to determine the exact needs of your warehouse.
The size of your warehouse
The amount of stock you have to store
The size and weight of the stock you are storing
Which kind of flow system will be best to move your product in and out
Once this has been determined you can work out what kind of system you need.
Drive in Pallet Racking
Live Pallet Racking
Cantilever Racking
Conventional Pallet Racking … the list goes on!
I have spoken about this in previous blogs but different systems suit different business models. For example with conventional pallet racking, at any one time you have direct access to each individual pallet, with live storage this is optimal for quick product turnover… each system has a different benefit and a different way of working so that your business can run to its full capacity and efficiency.
Another important piece of information to give us is the size of your warehouse or the size of racking you want. We need to know if you want something to fill your whole warehouse or just to fill a corner. If you know the height of racking you want that is fantastic information too!
