Case Study 15

We were approached by a client who is a delivery management and fulfilment company based in Washington. They wanted us to help maximise their new warehouse space and thought that second hand pallet racking was a fantastic option that not only maximised every square inch, it also saved them up to 50% of the cost compared to new.

At the start of the initial enquiry and moving into quoting stage, we completed a site visit and auto CAD drawings were done and sent to the customer. This helped them fully understand the options we were presenting to them so they could ultimately decide which was for them.

The option they selected consisted of 8500mm high x 1100mm deep frames and 3400mm long beams. We chose a great quality second hand PSS system to use for this job and it turned out looking just as good as new. We also supplied safe working load notices to complete the job and keep it compliant.

The delivery was organised by us and we made sure to liaise with the customer to find what worked for them. This was done on multiple wagons which had to perfectly coincide with the install team to make sure things went without a hitch.

The installation took place during normal working hours which caused very little disruption to the usual running’s of the business. This worked great for the customer as they could still be incredibly productive and have a usual working day.

Once all the work was completed the customer was over the moon with how the warehouse turned out. It was better than expected and they can now use their utilised storage space to help with business growth. They have advised that they would not hesitate to use us again in the future as and when required.
