We have recently completed a full installation of a multi-tier shelving system for a Keighley based fulfilment company. They came to us in Q1 of 2020 requiring a site visit at their 40,000 square foot warehouse as they were interested in a floor over system. Our MD went to site and produced drawings before on agreeing on the layout and providing a quote.
We quoted for the supply, delivery and installation of a multi-tier shelving system with varying beam sizes on order to ensure maximum warehouse efficiency. We used, what’s effectively a combination of mezzanine flooring and Unirack shelving to give the best possible end result.
Our system is for pedestrians only and is for smaller items rather than large items stored on pallets and therefore no machinery is required. This means it consisted of walk ways, 2 integrated staircases, hand/knee/kick rail, 12mm MDF overlay on some of the walk ways, bin dividers and a pallet gate.
The great thing about this sort of system is that building regs are not required. This makes the project a lot easier and means there is no headache to be had with this sort of thing.
