Requirement: Additional pallet racking supplied for use alongside an existing system
Techlan Ltd contacted Advanced Handling & Storage Ltd to source additional pallet racking to increase storage capacity within their warehouse. The new racking was required as a standalone system, operating alongside existing racking of a different system.
Techlan needed extra pallet storage but did not want to modify or connect to their existing pallet racking. The new installation needed to be self-supporting, correctly specified for heavy loads, and suitable for use within the same operating environment.
As this project was supply and delivery only, clear specification and compatibility with the intended load profile were the main priorities.

The racking was specified as an independent system, allowing Techlan to increase capacity without affecting their existing storage infrastructure.
Careful attention was given to component accuracy and delivery coordination. All materials were supplied clearly, identified and ready for installation, supporting a straightforward handover to Techlan’s chosen installation arrangements.
The additional racking has increased the capacity for pallet storage while keeping the existing system untouched. Techlan now benefits from a robust, heavy-duty storage solution that operates independently and supports ongoing growth.
