Conventional Pallet Racking is one of the most popular warehouse solution that we supply and install. It is the most universal solution which gives you direct access to each single pallet. There is no fancy automated parts or life storage systems but a basic system. This allows you to access every single pallet at the same time (if you really want!).

Great Advantages

The biggest advantages of a conventional pallet racking system is that stock can be easily removed because each pallet can be accessed without having to move other pallets to get to it.

It also means that you have complete control over your stock as each space is taken up by an individual pallet. If you have been to warehouses which can be accessed by the public such as Ikea, Makro, Booker etc. you may have seen a solution like this. In a situation like this it also means that no excess stock is out for the public so it can be more easily controlled.

The say these systems are laid out are single-entry wall racks are around the perimeters of the warehouse and double entry racks are in the centre.

With conventional systems you can also have ‘Double-Deep conventional Pallet Racking’. This is basically 2 double access racks put together so you can store more stock. Direct access is only available from the front pallets so it is recommended that you use this to have more stock behind it rather than a different product (as you only have access to the front product).

Conventional Pallet Racking is suitable for all lifting machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, standard reach trucks etc.
